Descripción de nuestra escuela

Kurus English es una extraordinaria escuela de inglés localizada en Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica. Ofrecemos la más alta calidad en la enseñanza del inglés gracias a que trabajamos con grupos pequeños de estudiantes y al novedoso programa de excursiones (histórico- social-culturales) que se adentran en la fascinante diversidad que tiene el alma de Ciudad del Cabo.

Nos distinguimos significativamente de otras escuelas porque además de las clases generales en las mañanas ofrecemos la oportunidad de experimentar y utilizar el inglés en contexto por las tardes, esta experiencia de aprendizaje es guiada por nuestros profesores.

Nada como utilizar el idioma que se está aprendiendo en un contexto de uso, esto es lo que proporcionan nuestras Excursiones por la tarde, le dan la oportunidad de conocer la gente de Ciudad del Cabo y practicar su inglés en la vida real.

Estas excursiones al aire libre reemplazar, además, las clases de comunicación en el interior del aula.

Nuestras instalaciones y equipamiento

Kurus English se complace en ofrecer una asignación detallada de costos, todo incluido en el precio, según qué programa de oportunidad de idioma elija:

La enseñanza de inglés general profesional e intensivo por medio de clases comunicativas de no más de 8 estudiantes, con docentes altamente calificados y experimentados seleccionados cuidadosamente.

Ofrecemos una unica e inspirada particularidad por las tardes: Nuestras Excursiones de inmersión al idioma, las cuales promueven el aprendizaje del idioma en contexto y el descubrimiento de la cultura. Las Excursiones incluyen guía, traslados, costo de entradas y en determinadas excursiones, una comida o bocadillos y/o refrescos.

Los recesos en cada lección son de 10 minutos donde usted puede disfrutar de bebidas ofrecidas por nosotros.

Se hacen reservas de alojamiento con familias cuidadosamente seleccionadas, en habitaciones individuales, con desayuno incluido y cerca de nuestra escuela (a 30 minutos como máximo).

Sin costos adicionales y/o ocultos, las tarifas de inscripción y administración ya están incluidas.

Traslado desde y hacia el aeropuerto.

Nuestro gerente de actividades lo asistirá para encontrar actividades para realizar en su tiempo libre y para hacer los arreglos necesarios para disfrutar de sus fines de semana y tiempo de ocio.

En caso de emergencia, usted cuenta con una línea gratuita las 24 horas.

Opportunidad 1: Descubrimiento de la cultura a través del idioma (30 lecciones)
Mañana: 4 horas Inglés Intensivo General (Lunes-Viernes)
Tarde: 3 horas Excursiones de lenguage (Martes-Jueves)

Opportunidad 2: Descubrimiento de la cultura a través del idioma + lecciones privadas (34 lecciones)
Mañana: 4 horas Inglés Intensivo General (Lunes-Viernes)
Tarde: 3 horas Excursiones de lenguage (Martes-Jueves)
Tarde: 4 horas clases privadas individuales (Lunes y Viernes)
ideal para TOEFL/TOEIC y IELTS o inglés para negocios

Opportunidad 3: Preparación para Examenes (FCE, CAE, CPE) (32 lecciones)
Mañana: 4 horas Inglés Intensivo General (Lunes-Viernes)
Tarde: 4 horas Excursiones de lenguage (1 día)
Tarde: 2 horas Preparación para Examenes (4 días)
en preparación para FCE, CAE y CPE.
(respectivamente 9-12 semanas antes del examen el cual se realizará en Cape Town).

Opportunidad 4: Programa Personalizados

Kurus English brinda oportunidades de descubrimiento personalizado de la cultura a través idioma a compañías, grupos de funcionarios del gobierno o para todos aquellos quienes lo soliciten. Los Programas Personalizados son diseñados de manera individual, así que pueden iniciar y finalizan cuando usted lo solicite.

Nacionalidad de los estudiantes, edad promedio y número de alumnos por clase

Le damos la cordial bienvenida a estudiantes de todo el mundo mayores de 18 años. Ciudad del Cabo es famosa por su diversidad cultural la cual tratamos de reflejar en nuestros salones de clase también.

Nuestra lecciones son de 50 minutos de duración.
Hay un máximo de 8 estudiantes por clase. En un rango de 3-4 estudiantes por salón.

I d love to stay longer but unfortenaly....

First of all was Gavin, he made me feel good on this school. the way he are teaching is absolutely fantastic. His sensitivity and patience is unbelievable.

Cape Town -for me- A Cape of good memories

When I went to Cape Town I had a couple of exceptions how it should be.
And Kurus English exceeded all of them.
I went there to learn something about the culture, the people who living there ,Traditions and so on and not at least to improve my English.
In Kurus English we learned English while we having fun either with the teachers or other members of Kurus English, the people we visited on our excursions and the guys from coffee beans routes.
So it was very easy to improve our English in such a nice atmosphere and in such a nice country.
Also the language excursions in the afternoons were very helpful to learn to speak English and to understood the different kind of meanings a sentence can have in the right way.
At leaste i just can say thank you to Kurus English for helping to get self-confidence by speaking English !!

Amazing time!! Many experiences!

We really had a great time at school. All the teachers are really friendly and helpful! We were able to learn a lot about the South African culture und history by attending the language excursions!!! I really recommend this school to all of you!

2 wonderfull weeks!!!

The concept of Kurus English is fantastic.
This 2 weeks with lessions at the morning and daily excursions to different people and places provide an ideal blend of theory and practice.
The activities around the classroom made the 2 weeks to an unforgetable time of my life.

Thanks to the whole Kurus English team for this wonderful 2 weeks. It was not the last time I visited you!

Great time in Cape Town! :)

Kurus English offered our group of 12 people an excellent time in Cape Town.

Additionally to great "indoor classes" where we dealed with grammar, skills and of course a lot of talking, they offered the opportunity to do language excursions, which means we could get in touch with a lot of South African people and we also saw almost "every side" of Cape Town. :)

The team was great, very welcoming and we could always come to them:)

So I definitely will recommend this school! And thank you, Kurus English, for this wonderful time!

Best quality and choise ever...

I can highly recommend Kurus English to everyone who is looking for a professional and high standard school. The teachers and everyone who is working for Kurus are just great! A French in Cape Town

A week spent with Kurus and it is already finished... I have spent a crazy week with a group of German Girls and a fantastic team of teachers. I felt like in a family here.

I improved my English a lot but I still work to correct my french accent, so... I'll be back ^^

Best Time In My Life!!!!

The last two weeks i was in cape town kurus english school. best english teacher I've ever had. great activities, nice "family" and lot of fun. the combination with in class and out class teaching was the best experience to improve your english.

now i'm back in germany and my main important aim for the next time is to look, when i will fly back to cape town and kurus!!!!

Time of my Life

I spend two weeks in Cape Town and I have to say, that two weeks aren't enough to see everything. Before I came to Cape Town, I hated English as a subject in school, but when I visited the Kurus-English-school in Cape Town, this Feeling changed completly. I loved to speak and to talk in English. The teachers are very friendly and supported me to improve my English. The lessons are very interesting and the the school is very well organised! The language excursions gave opportunities to talk to native speakers, which helped me a lot to understand cultural and historical aspects of South Africa better. Thank you: Kurus English for this fantastic and awesome time in Cape Town. Hope, that I have the chance to come back! I really enjoyed the best time of my life in Cape Town! Thank You!

Great Experience!

I was in Cape Town for 2 Weeks and this time was awesome!!!
The school is organized very well!
The lessons are prepared very well and I learned to speak the everyday english!
The excursions were great!
If you are coming to Cape Town, take more time with you! more than 2 Weeks!!!
There are many opertunities to enjoy your leisure time (Kloofing, Sandboarding, Quadbiking, Safari). To summerize: It was my best experience ever!!!

Thanks for everything! You guys are awesome and you have a great team working together! I had the best time here in Cape Town, and I'll come back for sure! I wish I could be here for more than 4 weeks....:/ It was amazing the experience of living and studying in a different country with great people and a wonderful culture.

It is a wonderful school with professional and authentic teachers.
The mix between lessons in the classroom and excursions at the afternoon helped me alot to improve my english.

9 weeks at Kurus English

My experience at Kurus has been very fruitful considering my initial expectations. The quality of the teachers is high, the school is reliable. I stayed at the school 9 weeks and I've been able to improve my English in a very conducive learning environment thanks to the Kurus Team. The language excursions are a great complement to the language sessions themselves. If you're looking for a school to learn English in Cape Town, think about Kurus English!

2 weeks in Cape Town / at Kurus English

I highly recommend this language school! There are a lot of reasons, e.g. the teachers who really show their interest in helping and improving the students, which I really appreciate. And, which is also an important point - Kurus English does not only do English lessons inside but also "lessons" outside the classroom. We did a lot of amazing excursions where we were able to get to know the culture, the history and the people living here - and, of course - use the language.
I definitely would come back here and also recommend it to my friends.

Great school to learn properly English

I can really recommend this school with their super-cool way of teaching. This school focuses also on the culture of South Africa by combining interesting and new schooling techniques and offering language excursions in the afternoon, for example visiting a township, a drum workshop or a food tasting of typical South African taste.

Amazing time in Cape Town

During my two weeks stay at KURUS in Cape Town i had an amazing time. The family environment in the little school is wonderful. After ten minutes time in the school the ice is broken and you chat to everybody as you know each other for decades. The teacher, Gavin, is a lovely person who provides you all the time with information to improve all your english skills as well as your knowledge of South African history, culture and habits. Time flys when he is teaching you!
To be honest, i was deeply impressed and i can recommend this school to everybody who is interessted in adult education.

Kurus English is a wonderful school for learning english. The teachers are great. They motivate you to speak english.
The connection with Coffeebean Routes is a really good idea. I learned a lot at the language excursions. About Cape Town and the people around.
I've been at Kurus English for two weeks. These two weeks were enough to fell in love with Cape Town. I'd like to go back any time.

Have you had fun at school? To improve English and have a great time, go and visit KURUS. The have got ambitious teachers who not only know about grammar and vocabluary but are interesting to talk to. What would you like more? Diana und Johannes really take care for a perfect organisation, so you don´t have to bother with looking for accomodation, transfer to airport and things like this. Instead you can find out more about a very vivid and beautiful city, Cape Town really is. Full of ideas, challenges, innovation, music, fashion. COFFEBEANS ROUTES will show you during the language excursions in the afternoon. I left a suitcase there. There is always a reason to improve English :-)
